When I first saw this ‘life-changing loaf of bread’, at My New Roots blog, I immediately wished to taste it! It looked delicious and I always liked ‘crunchy’ breads. Moreover I’m trying to introduce more and more whole foods in our kitchen and this bread seemed a perfect way to do it. The inspirational way how Sarah Britton writes in ‘My New Roots’ also helped to make my desire grow and my mouth waters just by looking at most of her recipe’s photos!
I didn’t find all the ingredients in our customary grocery store, so I was waiting for days to finally be able to bake and taste this bread and in the end was well worth it! For those who live in Europe, may be interested to know that I ordered the ingredients I couldn’t find in a physical store at this UK based online shop.
[Nina says hi!] And finally, you can find the recipe right here. I used only half of the ingredients as we’re running out of sunflower seeds but anyway our silicon loaf pan seems to be too small to use the quantities indicated by Sarah, perhaps two-thirds will be the ideal for us.
